What if I’ve forgotten my password?
If you are not able to recollect your password and have most likely forgotten it,
then you can put in a request for a new password to be created.
- Log on to our Forgotten Password page
- Type your email in the form that shows up on screen. Make sure the information is
the same that you gave at the time of registration. If the email is not correct,
you will not be able to request for a new password. In case you have forgotten your
username, you will have to follow different steps.
- If the information is correct, then we will immediately generate a new password
for you. Your new password will be emailed to you at the email address which was
provided during registration.
Once you get your new password and have logged in to your account, you can change
your password to something that you can remember.
What if I’ve forgotten my username?
When you initially register, your email and password are selected at the time of
registration. After the registration process is done, you will get a confirmation
of your username and password to your email address from us.
If you have purchased any subscription, then your username shows on your payment
receipt
If you have forgotten your username and cannot retrieve your confirmation email,
then the fastest way to get access is to re-register for a new account by logging
in to www.britishcitizenshiptest.co.uk
Why doesn’t my password work?
There can be many reasons for getting an “Invalid Password” error message:
- Log in with the correct username. Always be sure that you log in with the correct
username when signing in to your account. We have special advice if you have forgotten
your username.
- Clear your browser’s cache. It becomes necessary to clear your browser’s cache.
The cache is like a memory used by the browser to store content of the web pages
that you visit. Storing that content allows your browser to load those same pages
faster the next time you visit them
If you continue to have problems, you can request for a new password. After you
get your new password, you can change it.
How can I pay for a subscription/registration?
Subscribing or registering online for our Practice Test is fast and very easy.
- Log in to your account. If you don’t have an account, then
register for a new one.
- Click on the 'Start Test' link for a Practice Test.
- Go through the process of subscription/registration till you
make the payment through one of our Payment Gateways which are comfortable with.
- Type your payment details and follow the instructions that
are displayed on screen.
Once you are done with your payment your subscription process will be completed.
Can I pay for a subscription by phone or mail order?
Unfortunately we do not take telephone or mail orders.
What should I do if I’m having problems buying a subscription/registration?
If you are facing problems buying a subscription/registration, then you should get
in touch with your card issuer. Your card issuer will be able to check why your
payment is unsuccessful. We do not get any information about why a payment is declined.
How can I change my password?
You can change your password by logging in to your account and clicking on ‘My Account’
in the menu bar. Here you can make changes in your personal detail which includes
your password.
Change your password by typing a new password into the ‘New Password’ text box and
then retyping the same password in the ‘Confirm Password’ text box. Click the ‘Submit’
button to submit your changes. To further protect your account, make sure that you’re
able to remember your password but it is difficult for others to guess. A strong
password contains a combination of numbers, upper case and lowercase letters (remember
that your password is case sensitive).
